Your Coding Agent Should Know What You're Building

AI coding agents are everywhere now, but they start every session blind. They can read your code, but they don't know your project: what you're supposed to build next, what the team already shipped, or where the work is headed. So you spend the first ten minutes of every session re-explaining your own roadmap to a tool that forgets it by tomorrow.

So we connected the two. xcelit now runs a small server your coding agent can talk to over an open standard called the Model Context Protocol. Connect Claude Code to a project and it can see your open tasks, understand what the project is and who's building it, and read the record of what's recently shipped — and, when you allow it, mark tasks done and leave notes as it works.

The point is what that makes possible. You open your editor and say "work my next task." The agent pulls the highest-priority item off your board, reads the project context, implements it, and checks it off — without you pasting a single thing. Your project's plan stops living only in your head.

It's the same idea that makes xcelit useful to investors, pointed inward. The verifiable record of what you've built is what proves your execution to the people watching; now it also briefs the agent building alongside you. One record, two audiences — the round, and the work itself.

Connecting takes one command. In your account, open "Connect to Claude Code," choose the project, and copy the line it generates — a single command with your access already included. Paste it into your terminal and Claude Code is connected to that project. Prefer a config file? The same screen hands you a ready-to-paste .mcp.json instead.

Access is yours to control. A connection is scoped to the projects you choose and the permissions you grant — read-only by default, or read-and-write if you want the agent to update tasks as it goes. Nothing is shared beyond the project you connect, and you can revoke a connection at any time.
